The Irishman finally debuted on Netflix this week after two months of being in select theatres around the world for a short time.
Despite the 3-hour long running time, the film has been a raging success among critics and general film viewers alike, but one thing has been distracting viewers, and it’s to do with one of the main characters.
Fans can’t stop pointing out how distracting Robert De Niro’s eyes are in the film, saying that his piercing blue retinas ‘remind them of a cyborg’ and that they’re ridiculously ‘freaky’ when he’s playing the mob man in the film.

Since coming out in the cinemas, the film has received rave reviews – with some people saying it is even one of Martin Scorcese’s best films in the most recent years.
This scene is so legendary. I cant believe I witnessed this in theaters. I’m fact, in my lifetime. Seeing these actors together for the 1st time meant a lot to me. I grew up on these guys. Al Pacino ate this film by the way. He deserves an Oscar nomination #TheIrishman pic.twitter.com/wcxSCKU6kE

The cast included the top billing of Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Al Pacino. All three have been tipped to receive an Oscar nomination when the awards come back around in the new year.
But the star of the movie is Joe Pesci. Wow. He is like the anchor that calmly holds the whole movie together. It's a type of character that most of us are not used to seeing Pesci play and I think that's why it'll be a fan-favoutite. Oscar worthy. #TheIrishman pic.twitter.com/hGoAZ5os6V
